This is a page dedicated to reporting the events that took place in the world of hockey 50 years ago. The reports will be filed day-by-day (starting September 1), described just as they occurred on a given date during the 1967-68 hockey season. Site is maintained by Rick Cole, a member of the Society for International Hockey Research. Rick is a retired Niagara Regional Police officer, and a former forensic investigator for the Government of Ontario. More recently, he worked as a video analyst for Stathletes, the advanced hockey analytics firm founded by Arizona Coyotes general manager John Chayka.
